Cruise Control have 2 activation buttons. One, is to set cruise control. second, is to resume. Resume button does not work, unless you set it first. You also have to turn off retarder and engine brake first. You have to drive above 30km/h in order to activate Cruise control as well. And it just keeps desired speed - it won't slow down if
Not sure what is going on, but my C key is mapped to Cruise Control. Everytime I press C it states "Retarder is Activated" Use . key to deactivate. I press the . key, but then the same thing happens everytime I press the C key to turn on cruise control? I checked my key mapping and the C key is mapped to Cruise Control. What is going on??

Retarders work by changing the valve timing of the engines, increasing compression and causing the engine revolutions to slow down, therefore slowing the truck down. sorry, but you are confusing the retarder with the engine brake. Retarders are devices built into the transmission that work with the gears and driveshaft to reduce speed. 4zHF.
